    Default Seat belt guide loose

Have a rattle/vibration from nearside rear on investigating noticed that where the seatbelt goes on the nearside rear seats there is a plastic guide that stops the belt rubbing on the seat and that is what is loose, managed to get it off and having a look at it it has clips on it that clip into shaped metal rods within the seat it also had a metal ring on the plastic underside , well it did, it fell off and went behind the gap in the seat , putting it back on I cannot get it on firmly, if i try and move the offside one it wont move but the slightest touch on the nearside one and it moves Also a part number would be great as I think the metal ring that fell off it probably has something to do with the slackness.

Yes, but last year so memory hazy. The metal ring is all there is that holds the plastic top part to the metal frame underneath, if I remember so it will be rattly and loose it that's come off.

I tighted the rings up while the seats were out of the car because the plastic bits were coming a bit loose - by tweaking the metal rings tight with a pair of pliers.

If you still have the metal ring, put it back on (refer to the other side of the back seat to see how it fits) and tweak it tight, or make your own metal ring from an paperclip or something and again fit it back nice and tightly.

I don't know if dealers would do the metal rings seperately, or if you would have to get them with the plastic covers - or maybe even the whole end-section of the seat.
