Where does the stuff go that I drop between my windscreen and the dash, namely the screws out of the back of my tax disc holder and the allen key to get them out.

Ah, that old classic!! You're not alone m8!! Did exactly the same thing myself last year (and I know for a fact other members have done it as well - I won't name names! ) I now know to stuff a rag in that gap before doing it.

I think it may eventually come down to the area behind the glovebox. When I got my windscreen replaced, I asked the guy to keep an eye out for the allen key and the tiny screw - he came up trumps with the allen key. The tiny screw appeared one day on the passenger footwell after I'd had the glovebox out.

I always believed they entered a seperate dimension along with odd socks and silver dust valve cap covers

Ah well, I will just bide my time. All well and good these fancy tax disc holders until you need to change the blooming tax disc

Glovebox comes out easy, drive about for a few days, do some good swing in corners to shift the bits, and have a look, if broken glass finds it's way into the footwell, i'm sure the screw will as well, 4 torx and its out btw.
