However, once the warranty has expired VX will be very reluctant to cover any of the cost
Given the car is nearly at 80K miles (the limit of the three year warranty), you are nearly at that stage
For that reason, I would suggest having the cambelt changed (and as per my usual advice, request they use the kit and ask for the original back)
Now the water pump is a good one, and it depends on how you get on with the dealership
If it is found to be near to the end of its life, they may be willing to submit a warranty claim (in which case the ENTIRE job is covered by warranty), if not then it is worth replacing it
Once you've had this cambelt change, reduce the interval to 50K miles
