cracking write up John makes me want to go and drive them

I prefer the looks of the astra but with a kid on the way it is just totally impractacle so it would have to be the vectra vxr for me if i were in a position to get one at the moment.

Most excellent write up by (in your own words) an amateur.
But why not it gives an unbiased opinion with out the bumf that you can get from "experts". as I see it they will be owened by the average guy on the street and this feed back is all they need.

I don't have kids Brocks, had an estate as I needed a diesel. Now situation as changed where I use the Astra Sportshatch 1.9 Design Diesel for work and I don't need a Vectra Estate diesel. So back to petrol

Ahem, the Signum came before the New Astra - so I'd say the Astra looks like a squished Signum - or a Signum after a Merc driver has had a go at it!!

Belting write up john tough tough choice if it was me as i love them both just love the size and space of the veccy but also like the pocket rocket aspect of the astra ................................................BI G bruiser versus pocket rocket ..........tell you what buy both then theres no problem when you get up in the morning whatever mood your in you've got the car for the job !!!!!!!
