    Default Digital Still Camera

    Hi Guys

Can anyone recommend a digital stills camera - Got upto about £150 to spend

Have seen some really good pics lately that have had effects added by camera. Been a while since I bought my last one - new things like face recognition etc etc.... Saw some pics that seemed to have subject sharpened up and the background normal....

    Any suggestions most welcome

    Cheers

    Neil

Visit pricerunner and see what meets your specification
Visit a local supermarket and take a look at them before ordering online

Most cameras come with programs, but try to avoid using effects as once applied to the image they cannot be removed
It is better to take the photo exactly as you see it
Then manipulate it on the computer, as these changes can be applied without affecting the original image

I had the S550, s5600 & s5700 and can highly recommend them. I have a Panasonic TZ7 mainly for compactness but the Fuji is far superior on battery life which is a great plus as the TZ7 spare battery is another £40

after seeing the photos that dez (deztroyer) took when we were at the lakeside meet .i thought it was time to get myself a camera (have a jvc viedo one ) but was looking for something just for pic,s. he reconmended the fujifilm2000hd which he had ,but they were coming in over 200 pounds .went to asda and they have the fujifilm1500 camera/4gb card and the case for 143 pounds .so got it great camera but seems to be simple enough even for me to get some nice pohots with .though im still learning as i go along . khalid

Canon Ixus range, very small, excellent quality. I have the 960IS and it's superb.
