    Default Back seat rest uprights

I can't seem to be able to lock my back seat rest uprights when they are in the upright position (i.e. they can be just pulled forward without having to press any buttons)... safety issue??

The handbook talks about the orange flaps not being visible when the seats are correctly locked in position but my orange flaps are and I can't get them to disappear. What am I doing wrong with the buttons on the top of the seat if anything? Is this normal?

    Thanks

Check to make sure the seat belts are not caught any where in the area, also check that there is no obstruction from within the boot. If all is clear, slam them backwards you should then hear a "click"

Nothing in the way but they won't lock. Going to the dealers tonight for something else so will ask them.
