No such thing mate. They use normal dealer parts. They get what you'd get and vice versa.

If you have a search on here you will find a part number for what people state as Police Spec. pads......found it earlier just didn't make a note of it.

They do police spec pads for the vec B so should do them for the c??

Would it just be better getting red or yellow stuff pads then??

Just wanting something better than standard

Vxl dealers do not stock any special spec pads for the 'C'. Red or Yellow stuff would be my choice. Both are good pads. I'm trying to go down the AP 6 pot route at the moment so thats why I haven't bothered with any high spec pads.

93188113 is the part number for the pads that EPC shows as being for police vehicles, although they are also used on non-police cars. But they only do them for the front disks, not the rears, and only for the 314 mm disks - If you have a 2.0T you'll have the 302 mm disks, unless you've upgraded to the larger size already.

The police spec pads are just Mintex. I use the 285 version (none dealer), good bite but a bit dusty.

I had mintex on my last brakes, but got the cheap ebay one's... Were really bad for dust..

Think a wee change to red or yellow stuff is in order..

TBH if you haven't had a remap and don't plan to, greenstuff would be more than adequate
