    Default Machine waxed

    Hi guys,

I've found another way to apply wax.........by Smartool, you can see it in the following link: -

    http://www.smartvaleting.co.uk/index...d=cat&catid=24

It made a cracking job and fast.....you bet it was fast.....here's a couple of pics, not that great but you get the idea eh

    And

I know.....rubbish pics but what can you do eh , what I can say is that the Smartool has taken Megs #16 to another level......there was fleck and colours coming through that I hadn't seen before

    Nice results Bryan,

can this smartool be used instead of a PC or is a PC still the way to go if you're after one tool that will do it all.

i see its sourced from a UK supplier, so does that mean there is no messing around with transformers and the like?

finally, what is it like to use, TBH it looks fairly awkward and bulky in the pic, how much control do you have over the two heads?

    cheers

Ive got one but not really used it in anger yet. I have used it to apply the meg 3 stage but i had the stuff flinging everywhere. Definetly a practise makes perfect thing. Having had a few goes with L200steves PC i think i can give it a better go now.

Much less vibration than the PC, you can use it one handed almost but it is a little heavier and doesnt have the benefit of variable speed. Its either on or off. When steve had a quick go of mine he found that it warmed the paint up quite a bit which he said would be good for cutting.

Do you use yours just for buffing after wax application, as I can't any benefits to using it over applying wax by hand using an applicator.
Shoot me down if I'm wrong or missing something.

    Hi Scott,

That was the first time used.....it arrived just on Tuesday and I applied the wax via the Smartool then buffed with a MF........I've just had the Autosmart rep in and he used it on the glass and it removed all the wiper marks that can't be removed by hand........not on my car by the way, no one works on my car eh
