Funny Noise

Anyone come across this before, I kind of get a rattle when I just start to dip the clutch, Probably worse in first and second when pulling away. It seems to have developed a squeak as well today. Only when I dip the clutch though.

DMF m8 picked my '55 plate sri cdti 150 drove mint, got home (45miles) & had the same faults !!! nightmare !

I've been driving around in my 3.0CDTi for 13months now and it's been rattling since the day I got it. Done 20k miles with it and drives just like in January 2009. I wouldn't panic about it. If you've got money to spend...get the DMF replaced as it will improve drivability because there won't be the annoying rattle in the first gears

celes i have the same car as you mine i think does that to i think i pmd ya a while ago its just in 1st and 2nd my cars only done 13k should this be the case if i leave it will it be ok its not effecting anything
