I would recomend changing the belt and pullies, also the water pump every 40,000 miles. If yours has not been done yet then I would say it is over due.

Ive just had a look at the service plan for the Z19 DT and the Z19 DTH engines and Vauxhall say 10 years or 100,000 miles for the timing belt. It would probably be better for you to phone your local dealer and get that confirmed though.

VX say 100K/10yrs. Which seems very long to me but I guess a lot will depend on how its driven.

A friend of mine has just run his 120 to 99.5K before doing the belt/rollers and left the water pump but I`ll probably do my 150 auto belt/rollers at 50K and water pump/belt/rollers at 100K.

yes its right every ten year or 100,000 miles have to agree with ed taylor would do every 40 thousand and recomend waterpump as well i've seen a few at workk with 30 to 50 thousand miles on where waterpump seized damaging rockers and ends up costing alot.if i was you i would get it done ..

If my memory is still correct. VX said the cambelt for the V6 3.2 was 80.000miles. But due to "other reasons" (my discaimer) they reduced it to their original 40.000miles.
I would recomend in any situation to "err" on the side of caution.

The Z19DTH is every 10 years or 90,000 miles. Read the service book.

I would get it done now. The CDTI [150] used to be 100k or 5 years, that was then dropped down to 80k or 4 years and I heard/read a couple of years ago it was lowered again.

Although the service book tells you, if vx have lowered the interval you wont know unless you get it serviced fully at a dealer.

I always air on the side of caution and get it done at 75% of the recommended interval. Remember if that belt lets go its a possible engine rebuild.

You could always phone the local VX dealer. He will put you right when it should be changed.

Just had my 1.8 SRi Nav ( 06 ) 50,000 mls in for full service and advisory for cambelt kit was every 4 years or every 40,000 - And expect to pay £230+ at the stealers.
