    Default no power

    Hi All,

    went to pull away from work last night had no power my foot was to the floor went on for about 9 sec. Also I have got the spanner light on which goes off after about 5mins

    Check the vac pipes from the vacuum pump to the various diaphraghms via their respective solenoids. Also check the hoses to the turbo for splits.
    Other wise look on the forum for people in your area with Op COm or Tech 2 to get the codes read.

    if the light goes of after 5 secs then could be glow plugs

    touch the top of the glow plug with a live wire from the battery you should get a small but deffinate spark. one that doesn't spark is dead

    Update

    The spanner light comes on when a turn the key on then goes off the now the emissions light says on. No more power loss anyone point me in the right direction. Should I clean the boost sensor if so were can I find this on a 120 8v. Photos would be good

    Boost sensor is in roughly the same position as the CVDTI 150. Look in the How 2 section there are pics etc
