17" or 18"?

Had a bit of windfall and I'm looking at buying a set of wheels.

I think I've got my heart set on some VXR replicas, but cant decide whether to stick with 17's or go larger?

Whats you opinions?

Also what would be the correct tyre sizes should I want to go large?

18 225 40 mate dont do 17 they look far to small on the vec

mmm got to be honest I was leaning towards the 18's especially as I can get them in Anthracite

What paulvectrac said got 18s on mine and its not been lowered and don,t look out of place

I think the vxr reps can take a 235/40,best option to fill the arches on 18's

I've ordered a tyre and wheel package - £530 all in.

did you get a choice on tyres provided ??? - you might end up with WANLI's or SUNNI's which might detract from your driving experience

if you have the option to "upgrade" to a better package = take it

it could save you the cost of having to replace 4 tyres in the not too distant future
