    Default Toyo Proxes T1-R ?

Anybody running these? I have some Mohawks on at the moment which I understand are budget tyres which explains a lot, both are nearing the wear markers so time for a change, as I am sticking with the 16's I thought I may as well have some nice tyres...

    215/55/16 BTW...

If not which others are good for handling but also quiet, want to pay about £100 a corner...

Excellent tyres, although they are not a long lasting tyre.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I hated them when they were on my Civic Type R, much preferred the Yoko Paradas

Each to their own, this will attract many different views on what everyone thinks are the best tyres.

    I have Toyo Proxes T1-R & love them (225/45/18)

I've had this set on for over 10'000 miles & still have a good tread on them all

i just rotate them front to back at abound the 6'000 mile mark

& no i don't drive like miss daisy lol
But if your looking for a similar tyre look at the FALKEN FK452 review here

look here for tyres in your size Click me

TOYOS are ace, been running all my cars on them since 1999 got tf1s (i think) on the veccy at the moment but had t1rs on the corsa, the saying goes as if you would defecate onto a blanket then try to remove it forthwith to the road holding capability of this manufacturers tyres!

I'm not sure how relevant this is as the last time I used these tyres was on a rear wheel drive Lexus GS300, but see what you can dig up on Nexen N3000's. They stuck like glue to the road, and where driven from Liverpool to South Wales and back once a week so got a good workout on the twisty bits.
