    Default Bulbs???

Sorry more questions from a Vec C noob.

One of the bulbs has gone in my fogs, so needs changing. While I'm at it I want to change the sidelight bulbs as they give off a very poor yellowish light and indicator bulbs so I dont have the orange effect.

So my question is, which bulbs/LED's do you recomend for best results, not just for Fogs but for the sidelights and indicator.

    Reccomendations please.

Car is an 04 GSI with Xenons.

    Thanks in advance

Only to NOT fit LEDs as Vec-C's don't like them, or more specifically the bulb warning failure system doesn't like them.

MTECs are generally mentioned for sidelight bulbs.

What colour other than orange do you want for your indicators? Any other colour bar orange will probably mean an MOT failure.

As above, MTEC's for sidelights, you can use them for your rear number plate too

As for indicator you need to get yourself a pair of Silvertec chrome covered bulbs, they do the trick mate look much better than standard orange ones...

If you want a "white" fog light, then these are OK if you don't want to see much of the road .

Reason I say this is that I tried them in the dipped beam and whilst they looked cooool, couldn't see much at night. So went back to Osram Nightbreakers - more yeloow but at least I can see at night.

To be honest the fogs are useless whatever bulbs you put in them - I stuck my old HID kit in mine and I still can't see anything, they just look cool...
