Will increase hp and torque, I would say the figures you could expect are 180bhp and 370Nm, but it may be less it may be more. It depends on how the engine responds to the remap.
These are two of many m8 so have a look around:
Angel Tuning
Thorney
Gazza4
Assuming you meant you've a 1.9 CDTI 150, I think the most you get from a remap is 180!
Edit: Spoke too soon![]()
I have had all four of my 1.9 CDTi 150's re-mapped. All dynoed with with the following results.
1st Vectra was Superchips back in 2004, good map and drove well, 175bhp and 275lb/ft. Superchips have developed the map since 2004.
2nd Vectra was EDS, they claimed 200bhp and 330lb/ft, in reality it produced 179bhp and 288lf/ft. So although it went well and was perfectly reliable it did not produce the claimed figures.
3rd was an Astra SRi. BSR re-map this time. BSR claims 185bhp and 310lb/ft, the car produced 194bhp and 308lv/ft, so more power but a couple of lb/ft shy. But drove better than the EDS map.
4th my current Signum. BSR again, claims 185bhp and 310lb/ft. Actual on this one is 190bhp and 305lb/ft. Again little more power, a few less lb/ft.
My cousin has a Vectra SRi CDTi with Courtenay's map and it produced I think 192bhp and 312lb/ft. But the Courtenay map drives much better than all the others I have owned/driven.
Thorneys map is superchips so should drive well.
So 185/190bhp and circa 300lb/ft is about the average you will get.
