    If i can stop laughing long enough i'll ring my local motorsave that says they'd do it for £60/£80 quid....

    Tried and failed twice, couldn't get the top nut off the front struts. then didn't have the right torx bolt for the lower nut on the rears!

    Why cant Vaux keep things simple, a few 18mm bolts would keep things attatched... lol

    Oh and one of the vaux jack failed at one point too, cracked the side skirt slighlty when the car decided to lean one way and all the weight rested on it...


    Its payday and bonus time so i'm not too fussed, but £305 is a joke...

    When I did mine, I never used any torx bits... I don't think I own any either, std socket set, spring clamps, wd40, mole grips, allen key and a hammer is all you need.

    maybe the £305 was including the springs - even then - still expensive

    Well motorsave have now said - owe lowering springs, we wont touch them lol... so off with the place i always go to, but they said £90 when asked around christmas - astra was done for £15 a corner!!


    By way, noticed rear suspension has started to creak when pushing down on the rear O/S, any idea's what this is... hope its not the shocker!!
