    Default Clicking/Rattling on Full Lock

    Me again

Turning in a car park last night on full lock right-hand I noticed a clicking noise coming from the front. I'm thinking ball-joints (not exactly what I said at the time though ), but as there was room I went full lock left and got the same noise!!

AM I right in thinking "ball-joint issue" in which case how can you tell, or should I be looking elsewhere? Just weird that it did it going both ways.

    Thanks for any help
    Si

Ball joint would be more of a knock, clicking would indicate CV joint...

Ahh well ok then - since it does it on lock both ways does that mean it could be one or both are going?

It only does it on full lock so far so guessing I'm ok to leave it till the warmer months before mucking about with it.

    Probably both.
Might be worth having a look underneath and just checking for split gaiters as they'l deteriorate very quickly if the gaiters are split.

Will do when changing the oil this weekend. Just one thing after another with this car (it has a list of issues). VERY close to selling it but I'll spend less fixing it up than trading it in, also nothing out there really grabs me right now either

    Thanks all
