    Default gritters?

Was driving down A4/M4 at around 7pm last night, middle lane, about 35mph. A TFL gritting truck soared down lane 3 dumping its grit all over the show, it wasnt raining but had been wet, and snow wasnt even forecast?

Anywhos, had my window open, grit all over me, in my eyes, could of easily caused an accident. Plus, id just spent 5 hours cleaning, claying, polishing etc, now the off side of my motor is all ratty!

Call up and complain or leave it as in theory they had to do what they were doing?

grit isn't just for snow , its also to stop help give you a bit more grip should that wetness turn to ice, I don't think complaining would go anywhere as most county's are still screaming for more grit.

getting some grit down the side of your car, while annoying, is better than spinning off on ice and writing your Veccy off.

maybe i should rephrase my post, i have no problem with the gritting, as said, its better than spinning off etc, its the way it was being done, im not complaining that my car got dirty, its just a pain that i just cleaned it, however, grit all over my face whilst driving was not fun, and easilyy could cause an accident.

Some people just want to moan about everything..... no grit, late grit, too much grit, application of grit....

Put your window up = easy and don't worry.
