And if you don't have a rattle, don't worry about the top mounts, which look like these, that's the part that sits in the suspension turret and allows you front strut's to turn so you don't twist the front springs in their seats.

    Nice one
They are shorter than your springs and will still settle once fitted

I ended up fitting the rear springs from an estate kit on my saloon, with Bilstein B6s. The back sits about the same height as a factory SRi. The ride is brilliant, and when I tow its far more stable that it was before. I am going to try the higher weight front springs (from the V6 CDTi) to see if that gets the car closer to level. I expect it will still be a bit lower in the front, but closer than at the way it sits at the moment. I take my car down some muddy lanes in Germany and at the moment, the front is just a little to low for my confort.

The goal is a car that handles like it's lowered with as little lowering as possible. I'm 3/4 of the way there now. Can't wait to see how the stronger front springs are.

I pretty sure I read there is a reason for the car to sit at different levels for high speed stability

I rang LMF for advice before i ordered my springs. The guy i spoke to (can't remember his name it was in Julylast year) told me to go for the E10-65-007-01-22 kit as it would give me a better drop at the front end. I have to say he was right & i'm chuffed to bits with how the car looks & how the ride has been improved. The car looks good with standard 17's on it & even better with 19's on it.

Chap, did you ever try this - has anyone else tried the heavier springs on the front, to give a slightly raised nose?

Just fitted the E10-65-011-01-22 on me 1.9 150 hatch. Found that the front is very low? Are these springs to weak for the diesel weight
