I changed the battery on mine to a gel type which is considerably lighter and a third smaller than the OEM for the same capacity, this brought my front axle weight down and I fitted the 01 springs to my car.

It sits nice and level but I do have to watch some drives and kerbs as the front is lower and have scraped it a few times already.

Overall well pleased with the springs and B4's.

Well i got the Eibach's today

& the car is transformed, the ride is firmer but also more comfortable

    she now sits a lower

i knew i had one broken spring but when i looked at it, it's broken in two places one old & the one i just found

what i didn't expect was two different rear springs

last year i had a service by Vauxhall & they did say they replaced the rear springs as one was snaped (i did tell them it's fitted from the factory with sports suspension & 18" wheels)

Looks like they just replaced one for an Elite & Not one for the sports suspension
I thought it sat high on one side

Glad to say i'm rid of VX Springs

    Hi Trist
i find the ride to be alot smoother, but firmer if you know what i mean

& the wife even said the cars quieter now

My tyre size is 225/45/18 Toyo T1r's

Speed humps are fine now no noise at all

I have notice the my dip beam is too low now (got to fix that)

hope you get the rattle sorted out, could it be a drop link gone

I'll get a photo up when it stops rainning

Has been suggested that it could be the drop link !!!

The headlights I just adjusted it on the angle I put it on the highest it will go on and set it as the lowest on the dial If you know what I mean.

I was thinking of putting a HID on it but a bit reserved with it cos of all the blinking I keep reading about!!

On your tyres how much higher is that to the standard !!
