Default brake squeak squeak not a mouse!

after fitting my new brakes yeaterday it has developed a squeak squeak squeak. not continuous. from passenger side, it happens after braking, let foot off brake. pull away slowly or continue moving and hear this noise as i get faster it goes away. strange could it be a warped disc, i haven't been braking hard.
just annoying sounds like a squeaky door opening.

any help or advice would be appreciated thanks..
    Paul

Could be the type of pads that you have mate. What ones did you fit redstuff?

Some pads have a 'habit' of squeaking and squealing.

The back plate isn't touching the disc slightly is it?

Thats the one mate, 80% sure thats what it is if it only does it when hot. The disc expands and touches the plate

did you put a smear of copper slip on the backs of the pads? i know they usually have anti-squeal shims attached to the backs of the pads, my VX rear pads did have, but a light smear on the back as well helps.

could be a small stone caught between the back plate & the disc/pad, unlikely its the actual back plate rubbing on the disc, unless you bent it when putting the new pads on, but the plate is reasonably thick so you'd had to have used reasonable force to bend it.
