Can anyone tell me what this means??

means your alarm system is playing up. Could be one of the door sensors, bonnet sensor, or rear quarter wire (often go on the estates)

Means an issue with the alarm system some folks have this if the sounder is duff and it is disconnected to allow the car horn to work if you have an estate its usually the wiring sensor in the side glass at the back on each side

I had same on my veccy hatch and it was ultrasonics best check for simple things first then progress

that would be why my remote central locking only works every now and then maybe?? and advice on some quick fixes? (the key in the ignition then pressing a lock button doesn't work)

That's a sign that the battery in the fob's going or you need to clean the contacts.

Done both mate new battery and cleaned the contacts

My car sometimes comes up with Check Safeguard and it sometimes doesn't start it just makes a clicking noise when i turn the key, but its not the battery or starter, the clicking comes from the glovebox area, any ideas????? 2002 VECTRA GSI 3.2 V6
