Had the recall work done today, Vx Tech showed me the paperwork he had describing the problem "Some customers have experienced smoke and fumes through the air vents", all they do is disconnect the live feed to the heated windscreen washer nozzles and insulate , not even switched off by tech 2.

As I purchased this option (even though I did not know I had heated washer nozzles) how can I get Vx to compensate me?

If there are any recalls outstanding on your car do they have to fix them? or is there a set length of time when they dont have to carry out the repairs?

some manufacturers have a shelf life on their recalls most run for 5 years from date of launch ...others run until they are completed

as above give the helpline/loca dealer a call and if there are any outstanding they will let you know
