Default Spring Mod - Is This Correct (pics)

Probably a stupid question but this is how they go on, correct?... seen pics with the slits facing inwards rather then up - if i make sense...

I've used the blue ones (still got the green), green seem a little thin, are they for standard springs?!?

    Cheers all...

Are these needed on aftermarket springs or is it just for Vx springs/struts?

Think they benefit all, if you've had creaking. suppose its better then just copper greasing them and hoping that will last...

You're probably right - Isn't there's a mod for the top of the spring too?

Already a rubber pad in place up top, this is just to stop the metal on metal contact on the bottom...

I'll be doing my springs / struts etc next weekend so I'd best get some - are you replacing any of the bolts?

needed on all vectra front springs, forget to fit then or chose not to and trust me the noise when turning will drive you crazy then its a strip down job to put them back on. they should just pull off the bottoms of your old springs if you dont fancy paying the 3 quid from the stealers for some new ones

There are two wire thicknesses on the springs, i'd say that the thinner ones are for thicker springs
