    would 5W30 Long-Life fully synthetic, do for my 1.9cdti engine sri 120

    hey decks,
    yes it would, i run my 120 design on 5W30 fully synthetic, and my mechanic mate (poor old thing works at the stealers) tells me he advises all Cdti should use this oil, cheers

    All the engines in the range should be on this for more than 10k service intervals or if they have a DPF fitted.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    The OP has a 2004 reg
    If the car is not covered by a warranty, then you can go for any synthetic oil you like down to 10W40, however this reduces the oil changes to 10K miles

    That bit makes no difference! but thanks for saying what i pointed out about the 10k changes.

    You could also go for a better 5w40 oil in that case.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!
