Hiya Rob Painted Plastic Covers With Plasticote Super Gloss Spray Paint Enamel Plus Matching Primer Have Been Using This For Years Now Doesnt Crack Peel Or Flake And Is Very Heat Resistant To Shine Up The Hoses And Black Plastic Parts I Just Used Autoglym Tyre Dressing Sprayed On Neat And Left To Soak In Then Wipe Up Any Excess With A Cloth.....hth

Spray the (cold) engine bay lightly with water, either from a watering can, hosepipe or garden spray thing (dont spray it on electric bits though), then while the engine is still wet, spray the whole lot with either AG tyre dressing or vinyl and rubber care. Leave to dry. It will dry nice and even with a natural sheen.
