Z22SE engine problems

Hello all,

readed many info about this engine and problems, but still have questions:
1. All engine numbers from 11065400 had the revised Lubrication nozzle and tensioner, is it true?
2. If yes, had anyone problems with this engine, when number is higher?

Asking, cause tomorow going to look one Vectra C 03' with this engine and want to be sure about it...

All vectra C 2.2's are supposed to have the new jet fitted mate.

Unfortunately I reckon VX told porkies here as not all vec C's had the correct nozzle fitted, or so I've heard through the grapevine!! mine had just over 30,000 miles on it and the chain was fine one day and the next rattling on start up! got the chain etc replaced under warranty and they told me they 'd put the revised nozzle in as it came with the chain kit, when I asked them if it did have the smaller one fitted originally all they would say 'well we have fitted the one from the kit' just didn't seem to want to commit to the fact that the smaller one might have been in there, I suspect it was!! and with my engine number 11176*** it should have had the revised one, this was all done last July and if it starts rattling again in the not too distant future then it's going , these 2.2 engines are just ticking time bombs in my opinion!LOL
