do 07 vectra c still suffer clutch judder

Hi all good to be here I have a vectra 1.8 life and am very pleased to have it just a couple off probs its 07 and only done 30.000 and has split pesonality almost like clutch judder but not it seems the ecu is over compensatin holding revs up in gear change and causing alot of judder its difficult to drive it calmly when mother in law on board thats the first thing the other is just me and gadgets how can I get it to do all round lights when I unlock the car or lock it I do what it said in instructions hold door open pull main beam stork and they come on for 30seconds I want it to do that all the time but it forgets that I have acctivated it they call it door to door lights is it ment to forget lol

I think the high revs between gears are to do with the dmf. Not too sure bout the juddering tho, I have the same problem on my 1.8.
The feature with the lights only works the way you described, ie only when you leave the vehicle. If you want them to come on with key activation I think it can be programmed with tech2 or you could wire some drl's to the dash/switch illumination.

Sorry to leap in but I dont think that the 1.8 petrol has a dmf. My 06 plate doesn't

My 07 1.8vvt sri 36k judders aswell really annoying.

Do they not have a dmf?

Wot else could it be?

I'm almost sure that none of the 1.8 petrols have a solid flywheel, not dmf. Other members say to check engine mounts as this can cause juddering. Try a search on here for clutch judder and see what comes up. Good luck

you right 1.8 does not have dmf vauxhall are having lots of problems with clutches on petrol cars they have even changed materials but still have problems the fix now has been flywheel and clutch kits

Yeah not got dual mass flywheel which I have just see the animation for and can see why they rattle lol finding it hard to see the benefit mine is a solid fly wheel it tends to send me in to a wheel spin off every junction or slip the clutch to avoid judder and as for slow motorway traffic its hell people think im angree as I have to jump forwards cant have relaxed drive and its makin my other half feel sick lol

True, I was tryin to remember what I had read somewhere on here a while back and got muddled up (easily done).
Solid fly wheel sounds cheaper than a dmf too.
So the high revs between gears dosen't happen with the dmf?

My old 07 plate 1.8 vvti vectra suffered from clutch judder at only 2500 miles.They fitted a new updated clutch and flywheel but the judder returned after only 2000 miles.It wasn't quite as bad with the new one as the old but it would still judder mainly when warm.This.among other reasons, is why i traded it in because the 3 year warranty was due up and i didn't fancy paying out for it myself.
