    Default self locking car...??

When I press the remote once it unlocks the drivers door which stays unlocked...If I press the remote twice it unlocks all the doors...so far alls normal...However if no one enters the car within 1 minute, it locks itself....Ive just noticed this..has anyone else seen this, is it a feature or a fault ??
The remote is working fine, and the car does relock itself even if I dont touch any buttons...any Ideas folks..??

It's standard spec. Car locks itself if no-one opens a door a few minutes after unlocking.

As above matey. It's a security feature in case you accidentially operate the remote fob in your pocket while you walk away from the car.

Bt the way, you can switch to a single operation on the remote. I.E. One press of the remote opens all the doors. Also, there's a security feature that locks all the doors when you go over 20 mph (if my memory serves). I'll see if I can find the threads on them.

Edit: Here you go - LINK

Yeah i noticed this but was used to it happening on my old Focus. Good security feature i reckon

I also had the anti hijack feature switched on on my Vec but unlike the Focus you can't open the doors from the inside without either turning off the ignition or pulling on the door lock pin which is a bit awkward.

It must be that exhaust note, I've heard so much about on your car. By all accounts it's awesome?
