    Default Arrrrggghhh

Why do these things always happen to me.

Decided to change my front wheel bearing today as it was starting to groan. I picked a new one up for 90 quid

So... I went and bought a new half inch drive socket set which included the correct torx bits for taking apart the brakes.(well Chuffed)

Everything was going as planned until i got to the hub nut(this is where things start to go down hill)

My 32mm socket wasn't deep enough.(few choice words were said)
At this point the car is in bits. So i called a taxi to take me to to the nearest tool shop to purchase a deeper socket. Dearest ****** socket ever. So i arrive home to use the socket and it does the trick. Next I try and get the drive shaft out with my big hammer. Its stuck solid.

By this time i'm jumping up and down, kicking tools ect ect. So back on the phone to the taxi company to go and buy a hub puller. It works a treat.

Now i have the whole knuckle of the car and spend 30mins battering the old hub from the knuckle.

Success. It comes apart. now time to put everything back together.

    OH OH
I've put the new hub in wrong and the cable from the abs sensor is in the wrong postition.

    OH OH
I crack the knuckle by over tightening the track rod nut

    OH OH
Its back together and the brakes are squealling because my discs are shot and when i refitted the calipers a flake of rust must have found its way between the pad and disc.

    ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH

    sob sob sob

Btw I have a set of good discs if you want them foc, no use to me as I fitted the 302's and they are just in the way now, pads are good too (no abuse given to them)
