Default Which springs are best for GSI?

OK, NSR and OSF springs have just failed an MOT, so I guess I need to replace the lot.

Been checking out various sites for prices, and now need to see which springs are going to be the best.

So far I've narrowed the list down as follows:

    SPAX @ £110.24
    APEX @ £107.00
    Supersport @ £115.12
    PI @ £102.12

All inclusive of VAT and delivery.

So guys and girls, which ones would you recommend for my GSI?

I'm interested in hearing the pros and cons with your shortlist so far, in comparison to the Eibach's which are approx £160.

TBH, I don't really care about ride.

I've just found out I'm being made redundant, and was intending on selling the GSI so I can get a cheap, diesel to tide me over till I can afford to run a beast of an engine again. It's typical that the MOT failed today with the 2 springs, a blowing exhaust with a broken mount, and a new tyre required.

I'm going to get the mount welded, the exhaust blow sorted and the tyre, but I've been quoted £500 to replace the springs, and can't justify that, so having found a garage who will fit the springs for about £150, wanted to see what my options are. It seems the standard parts on ebay etc are all way more than the kits I've seen, so thought I may as well get some idea what others on here would suggest.

Lets see what happens to this thread then. Oh, I can let you know where I got those prices from, if you're in the market for springs.

That would be ideal m8. If i can save £50-£60 by choosing one of the sets on your shortlist, and have no significant loss on quality in comparison to the Eibach's. Sounds good to me.

sorry to hear about the jobfront mate

but ...first post for the Eibachs as they have a million mile warranty
i'm running mine with B6's and the ride is now unbelieveable considering the cost of a set of springs is not discimilar to that quoted by vx for one front spring

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
