The other day i noticed my '1.9' and 'I' (CDTI) numbers/letter were missing
Some scallywags must have been at it, i thought f**k it i'll remove em when i get home from work.
I arrived home and got straight to it, guys, these letterings etc were so easy to take off, I could have literally picked them off with my fingers.
I suggest each and every one of you be aware of this, I decided to post a short vid of this also.
The letter 'V' was the "hardest" to remove! All others came off as easy as 'E' and 'C'.

Had the same problem with mine a few weeks ago, seemed to be the cold weather that got most of mine off, then managed to get the A of Vectra off with my nails, was so easy it's surprising I have any letters on my car.

i doubt someone has pinched a 1.9 diesel badge personally.

cold wet weather will affect the foam sticky, i debadge my old vectra on a cold day and just pulled all the badges off id say 25% of them woudl of come off before too long

Did the same thing with mine in the cold, as one of the "A"'s had slid down the boot-debadged the lot in the end

Can you get the main vauxhall badge off on the back or does it leave any holes or as such in the boot?

The main one comes off with no holes, all are stuck on.

I know a few ppl with diesel golfs, I guess i like to point fingers

If you're thinking of de-badging the rear.......

i used some hot soapy water, WD40 and a credit card type bit of plastic to remove it.

Mine did the same the other day, the A fell off in my fingers. So I removed the lot.
