Hi, Does anyone know the size of the nut that holds the front hub on to a 2003 Dti?

    Thanks

as above but you'll need a 32mm 'deep' socket

cheers guys. Now i have a bigger problem. When tightening the steering rod back onto the knuckle, i over tightened and cracked the knuckle.

Is it possible to remove the new bearing without damaging it, to refit an other kuckle?

Front hubs should come off without any problems/damage if thats what you mean?

Are you talking about overtightening the track rod end which connects to the leg?

No way buddy, I'd leave the car where it is just now until you get a new knuckle, that thing may get a shock from a pothole or something and crack right through

As above, if it breaks altogether then you'll have no steering control at all.. Leave the car where it is until repaired.

Sorry to be harsh, but if you need to ask that question, then perhaps you should'nt be repairing your car!!
