    Default vectra c 2003 1.8 accelerate pedal delay

    hi there does anyone know how to adjust the accelerate pedal i can press it about 2 inch and nothing i have to press it loads to get a response and its hard work on hills / do i have to replace something for a good response sharper. i looked at the throttle and cleaned it but still same. on my bmw e36 you could turn a nut and it went tight can this be done

    hi mate not sure i know there not cable there elctronic on my dads accel pedal it clicks when you push it down like a switch maybe its something to do with that wait for more replys though pal

    All Vectras are 'fly by wire' i.e contolled by potentiometer from the pedal, all electronic.

    Could it be something simple like a loose potentiometer on the pedal? If the ECU sums don't add up it goes into limp, so it sounds like its a mechanical fault at the pedal end.

    where is that located. going to clean out throttle again this weekend is there out else i should do to help this or fix it .
