Cool Sat Nav stuck in Germany

Newbie here, recently acquired a Vectra 2.2 SRI on an 05 plate and mightily impressed with it, only thing is..

The built in Sat Nav 'position' map always seems to be stuck in germany - and my location on the map moves around germany - even though im driving around the home counties of england! so its telling me i am in germany, or last time i looked it told me i was driving near Prague, even though i was actually in west london!

Anyone shed any light on this? do i need to reset something or upgrade a nav cd?

    Cheers

its in your the base of your antennae on the roof, unless the CD70 was an upgrade then it could well be a fakra unit in the dash behind the CD70 headunit..

the antenna looks pretty well fixed externally, would i need to remove interior ceiling panel to check the connections on it?

Kenp - how did you fix your sat nav to get it back from showin the North Sea location?

If the aerial is at fault, then you can get a relatively cheap one ( £10 to £15) off ebay.
Just need to ensure that you look for a GPS aerial with a Fakra plug on it.

VW's and Audi listed aerials will also work on the CD70. - Plugs onto blue plug at the rear of the radio...the white plug is for the two radio receivers...(radio and TMC traffic)
