Vectra-C by the Sea - A family day out!!

Well NorthWestern boys and girls, summer is here (so they say! ) so we thought that it would be a good idea to make the most of the blistering British sunshine, and have a family day out at the seaside, for our next N/W meet.

Not sure how many of you know Southport, but it has the most enormous beach, and you are actually allowed to drive down onto the sands and park on the beach! It is a great location for a day out, with miles of sand, so child-friendly for those with little ones, and a fantastic and unusual location for a Veccy-C meet and photoshoot.

The plan of action is for a meet on Sunday 6th August, hoping for as many of us as possible to be there for about 10am-ish to save a big Vec-C shaped space!

We want to stress that this is a family day out (shops and funfair/arcades within walking distance from the beach) so kids welcome (the sand stretches out for miles, so plenty of safe space for lads 'n' dads football/cricket tournament?) and the choice of either bringing your own picnic, or possibly BBQ-ing for a small cost.
