    Default no straight lines

    hi there is there any way to get smoother lines when using lasso tool ,i try and do bits on my car pics but cant get a nice straight line ,tips welcome or is it just practice

    Use the Path Tool to draw paths and then make a selection.

    1.Press P to use the Pen Tool
    2.Select Paths as opposed to Shape Layers (Top Left)
    3.Draw around the item you want to cut out
    4.Right Click the new path and select 'Make Selection...'
    5.In the Rendering Options box you can choose to feather the selection, this will blur the selection by the pixels entered. Leave the Operation as it is
    6. Press ok and you're sorted
