Default rear chrome strip badge removal

What's the best way to remove these badges?

My last technique to take the rear griffin off, ended up taking ages as the glue was a pig to get off afterwards lol

    Default

Did it this morning, boiling water, then dental floss - they came off really easy. Picked the few bits of glue off then used auto glym tar remover to take off the left over glue.

The strip had really strong dirt outlines of the letters so i used some meguiars nxt all metal polysh

Great stuff, smells lovely, can't believe how clean and shiny it came up as

Made a dti badge out of the cdti lettering - the more i look at the badge the more i realise i made the ti wonky haha. Think i'll redo it but put them to the bottom of chrome strip right next to the rear light
