    Default Front washers

Motor sounds fine, back jets ok but nothing at the front. Managed to pump air through and eventually forced air back to the filler. How can I get in to clean the bottle out ?

    Thanks

    Nic

Turn steering full lock right then undo the 3 torx screws at the front of the front nearside wheelarch. Pull the wheelarch liner out and you can see the washer bottle and pump. Check the 2 pipes are still attached to the pump as it may just be the pipe for the front washers has come off because the back one is still OK. Someone also mentioned checking the seals in the right-angle pieces on the end of the pipes that push on to the ump haven't got dislodged and blocked up the pipes.

If that's OK then pop the pump up out of the bottle and check the washer/filter it sits in - it's probably full of gunk. This affects the front washers more than the rear as there's 4 nozzles rather than just 1.

Clean all of the gunk off the filter and also flush the bottle out (some people use steradent) before refitting everything before refilling the bottle and retesting.

If neither of these work then the pipe for the front washers may have come off or got kinked or blocked.
