    Default Front hub and wheel bearing question?

    Hey all i am going to be replacing my front passenger side hub assembley as the wheel bearing is shot and was just wondering if i will have to take the toothed ring for the abs off my old hub?Is it aneasy enough job to change out the hub has anyone got any tips or advice for me?

    I think it's all built into the hub that you replace so no need.

    You wont need to change anything over just old one off new one on. Quite sure there will be a how2 on here somewhere

    Hardest bit can be the driveshaft nut, take of the wheel, remove the dust cap on the hub, put on the space saver (so you can get a socket on the nut) and drop the car down. It makes things alot easier

    I changed my n/s/f last week on my 1.8 LS 52 plate mate. Everything you need is in the box, hub, abs ring, new Torx bolts and cap. Took about an hour, not hard.

    Sweet im gonna get it orderd tommoz can i ask where you got it from and how much,i am thinking of getting it from LMF?

    I got mine from the local "Euro Car Parts", not sure if they're nationwide or not, sorry. It was £72+vat = £84, after market obviously, and with a mate's garage name for a bit of discount. Another local parts shop was £88+ vat, and the local stealer was £100+vat after SuperTrade discount, (£140+vat without discount), for OEM.
