    Default help cant take this nagging whine lol

    my veccy has decided to develop this rubbing/whining noise it sounds like its coming from one of the front tyres/wheels can some1 help?

    take a look at the springs and see if one hasnt broken

    its more likely the disc protectors have a look around the back at the bottom - you will see a metal protective plate - its probnably rubbing at the bottom on the disc - just use a screwdriver to ply it away a little

    Wow, talk about spooky! I was getting a whining noise from my front drivers corner. Noticably bad when turning left. Put it on a ramp yesterday and it was indeed the lower disc protector plate rubbing against the disc.

    Crowbarred it straight and now perfectly quiet!

    Knew I should have posted the problem on here first, it's been annoying me for the past week!

    I wonder if that could my problem too ..... could that be caused by bottoming out slightly ? I have a bumpy track which i drive daily as it leads to my property and i can sometimes catch the underside of the car on certain pieces of it where there could be a pothole or a raised bit of earth etc?

    checked me springs 2day no problems there will check the protector as i do have to go down a farm track to get to work everyday so i might have bent it. cheers for ya help peeps

    the noise is stll there sounds like road noise but like a ressinating noise mainly here it at 30mph+ any ideas?
