    Default Suspansion Again

Just before xmas i had the car back into the dealers for a knocking/clonking noise from the drivers side front of the car,

    Every speedhump...rut...rough surface i got a knocking/clonking sound

In under warrenty with it being a 58plate and advised changed the drop link on the drivers side

Ok for a while...now the same noise has come back....same place

Odd thing is and this may help with somebodys who had this...

I have a friend who owns a garage, last week we put t on the ramp to see if anything looked out of place, nothing all in order

We let it down and the noise stopped for a week...as if something on the suspension with it being of the floor as moved maybe?then when it settles again the noise comes back a week later like it has again...

Any thoughts on what this could be due to finding it hard to see the drop links going to be up the creak again in 6weeks...

Any thoughts before i go back to the dealer for take 2 on the suspension noise.

i would normally say arb bushes , but seeing as you have a 58 plate i would doubt its those unless you been driving fast over speed bumps , how many miles has the car done .
It might also be worth checking your radiator mounts , they can sometimes work loose and break the seat,s they hang on .
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
    and still loving it

    Default

    The cars done 20,050 miles

Its riddled with speed humps where i live but i do go gingerly over them,

I think we spoke last regarding the radiator mounts....can you give me a direction of where they are...access to etc

I dont mind having a look myself...begore calling the dealer

Is there a tell tale sign if its them etc?what to look foir

If it is the radiator mounts would they fall back into place if the cars raised of the ground?then over time work loose again?

    many thanks
