Well, I have to say it, I was absolutely delighted with the brilliant turn out from the North West - a veritable bakers' dozen of us, despite the grey and gloomy weather!!



Many old faces, and great to see a handful of newbies as well. Since you're all probably sick to death of pictures of mine, Drinky's and especially Ian C's car I thought it would be nice to let the new chaps have the limelight, so here they are..............

Ian and I had also decided a while ago that it would be a good idea and a bit of fun to award a regular certificate for the 'Best car of the Meet' at today's, and future get togethers - not based on the amount of mods on the car, or money spent, but just in recognition of the owners appreciation of their car and enthusiasm for the site in general.

After a lot of deliberation, we decided that the first certificate should go to one of our new guys - Elite 1 - Ian Willis (car seen above) with his lovely Silver Lightning Vec Estate.

AJA's magic trick - "............and if I touch it just there, it changes back into my CDTi!!!" (sadly as the watching members soon found out, the trick didn't work!! Never mind Alex, you'll have her back soon!!)

Special longest distance award goes to Mark the Cabby who braved a trip up North to show off the spanking gorgeous new wheels!



Special visit from a 'new' member - some bloke calling himself AndyMerc (lovely to see you mate!!)
And also a big thanks to the Veccy B guys who were a little outnumbered, but none the less came and made themselves at home in our car park club!!

All in all a top meet and a great success - I reckon possibly the largest regional meet so far to my knowledge, just goes to show how we as a club are going from strength to strength.

Watch this space for information about our next big day out, which looks to involve buckets and spades for a BBQ at the seaside......................!!

Thanks for a great day chaps! ya all seem a great bunch, and all the cars looked great together I got some great pics and will be putting them on just as soon as i work out how to!!!
Also thank's for all the technical and warranty advice, will keep you all posted on how i go on, on wed im also chuffed to bits to have gone home with best car, it was a massive shock to recive that

AHEM!!! Who's idea?!?!?! Thats great Louise, I'm glad someone else tried it first so I don't have to guinea-pig it at my next meet!
