    Default MIJ exhaust options

Hi all, Due to my exhaust basically falling off the car I have decided to book a slot at MIJ.

I have a GSi so I am getting the twin exit version but I cannot decide what sound and tail pipes to go for.

They do a choice of quiet, mid sport and full sport. As I am not really a boy racer I was thinking more along the lines of the mid sport option.
Reason being is I have a friend with an Impreza who has a full sport MIJ and it is LOUD....

As for tail pipes I am thinking either the round ones or the oval ones much like the ones on it.

    Any suggestions let me know

    Thanks,

    Hey m8
I went for a mid-sport sound (like you, I didn't want it to sound too menacing)
As for the tips, they typically didn't have loads of variety in stock, or only had 1 in stock (when i needed 2)!!!
The design I chose in the end were very similar to the standard oval/slanted SRi pipes........just a larger version, and I reckon they look and sound 'spot-on'! (not that i'm biased or anything)
Just wish I had a camera so that I could post up a pic or 3 !!

    Some mixed answers there lol..

I dont do much mileage so i could live with a slightly noisy exhaust. but dont want to go full noise.
now i really cannot decide, mid sport or the quiet.

AS for the tips I have seen a few with the with round ones that fit nicley into the standard trim i think i may go with them.

I wouldn't go for quite, because apparently they say that you cannot hear any difference at all.
The mid-sport has a nice rumble whilst idling, but not ott when you put your foot down. (hope that helps)
    Your choice ultimately!

Thanks for the pic happyposite looks awsome.
I think that is what i will opt for. funny enough i have had my eye on a VXR surround for a while. the original GSi one looks a little tame i think.

Thanks for all your input guys but i think mid-sport it is with the round tail pipes. (depending on what they have on the day)
