Upgraded Signum boot switch - Availibile?

The boot on switch on my Signum has developed the switch problem where the ball bearing gets jammed with water and gunk, so the boot wont open.

As this is such a common problem, does anyone know if an upgraded boot switch is availble, that does away with the ball bearing thing.

anyone got a part number?

The answer I have found is yes - an upgraded boot switch is availible for MY08 onwards.

The upgrade does away with the troublesome ball bearing that can get jammed in the closed position, which stops the boot from being opened.

Part no was GM# 13266127. Cost, £20.68 inc VAT.
