    Default Chipped Uk Re-map 24/6/06

It was very exciting, we all met early in the morning and then followed on to where it was all happening. I wasn't sure how the car was going to perform but iam very happy with the result's. I was happy with my car before it was remapped. My pipercross viper induction kit and exhaust's has definitely made a difference to the car. There is nothing worse than doing mods on a car and not feeling any difference, but i was positive that the car pulled smoother and easier at lower revs.
When my car went on the dyno i did expect more BHP but had infact gained much more torque which made me happy. When it was then remapped and had a second run, the BHP had gone up and the torque to. We went for a short drive straight after but it was hard to tell straight away if it had felt different.?
The drive home was great, the engine noise is different and as said by the other owners(gsi) you do not need to put the pedal down hardly at all. Going home in 4th and planting the pedal to the floor, oh yes it fly's and then in to 5th, again she really pull's stronger. When i got into town, driving 2nd and 3rd gear the pull on my car is much more positive.(it was good anyway). The car has woke up and feels like it has been pumped with steriods, i love it and having done 200 miles in it i can definitley recommend having this done.
Sorry for the long post chaps but i wanted to get accross my experience......
A big thankyou to Chipped UK who done a great job and everyone who turned up. Pictures will follow later.
    Cheers

Phew! Glad your running in period worked mines still improving, or at least i'm finding areas where it's better, on the drive home from work just now I caned it up the mountain, it actually accelerated in 4th, never done that before! Always had to drop it down to 3rd if I wanted it to pull before. That'll be the extra torque being put down in the right place
