    Default black smoke..

    hi guys

when driving and i put my foot down, the car gets to about 2300rpm and it starts to smoke black out the exhaust, its not clouds and clouds but it is noticeable.

what would cause this? its a 1.9CDTI energy estate, have cleaned the boost sensor, done the airbox mod, new air, fuel and oil filters, and had a set of glow plugs all last week.

if i cruise along normally its fine no smoke, but as soon as a put my foot flat down (overtaking, going up hills etc etc) the black smoke starts to pour out.

    please can you help?

    thanks

They do smoke to an extent...

If it's excessive then you could have a boost leak or failing turbo seals etc...

Bang some good quality fuel system cleaner in the tank & give it a good squirt down the 606

    hi bud

that describes it well, soon as you plant your foot its smoking like mad. where are the boost pipes located? (pic if possible mate) so i can check for splits, and are they expensive to replace?

    cheers again
