Very Very nice! Why wait for Thorney Motorsport? I would not use them at any cost.

Courtenay have their 2.0T map finished and it is excellent. I could not of course comment that Opel in Germany are running two development Insignia 2.0T's with Courtenays Re-map!

275bhp and successfully completed several tests at the Nurburgring as Opel are looking to replace the 2.8T with a high power 2.0 Turbo (Not VXR, this will stay 2.8T).

Main reason being is TMS is closest to me, any work done is still covered under warranty. They did have problems communicating with my ECU, and they found my ECU had spiked. To be honest, i think my ECU was not right since it came of the production line, as normally a key is used to apply the latest software for the ECU onto the car before it rolls off. My ECU had no such key. Thorney advised they shipped another ECU in, had it set-up on a test bed, and that communicated perfect without a glitch! TMS replaced im ECU with a brand new one free of charge for me under warranty, now it communicates fine.

This delayed them producing a map using my car. So John is looking at getting his own in and producing one.

Do Courtenay offer this? I have only ever heard good things about Thorney.

Do you have any information on any available LSD's? Even as standard, its hard to get all the power down.

Couldn't find anything apart from Quaife diffs for the M32.

Does the Insignia 2.0T use the F40? If so, would this be suffice?

cheers, and thanks again for the kind words.

Have a look over on VXR Online to get an opinion on Thorney Motorsport. Yes I know they do the Warranty thing and this is of course good for the customer, they use Superchips for their re-maps which to be fair is not a bad thing. Courtenay on the other hand have done a lot for Vauxhall/Opel behind the scenes on different projects.

I know quite a few people who have used Thorney and spent thousands and thousands with them, but no longer use them.

I am based in Leicester like yourself, and I would always take the trip to Norfolk to use Courtenay.

Cheers, I will have a think and give Courtenay a ring. Im not knocking them what so ever, I have only ever heard good things about them as well. I just need to make sure IF something goes wrong soon after a modification, im not just going to get told its my driving style, wear and tear etc....But i know the whole mod seen and warranty doesn't really mix, lol, thanks for the info, any news on the 2.0T gearbox and diffs? This is something I would probably have sooner rather than later.

I am really interested more in the diff than the map, as at the moment, its hard to get all the power down at full throttle comfortably in 1st and 2nd gear.

    many thanks
