    Default Front arb bushes

I went to change my arb bushes today, got it off but the new ones i have look too small.i bought the small 24mm ones but when i put it around the arb it looked about 2mm too small! I have the part number off the old bushes(gm 13131231) but unfortunately there are no such numbers on the new ones.i put the old ones back on for now but does anyone think the gap would have closed up when i tightened the bolts up.my car is a 1.8 ls.

    Hey tex,

part number 13131231 is a 24mm bush, for a 24.2mm arb, this part number has been replaced by 24460832. Is this what you got, if so they should be right,

    hope this helps

I went to my local dealer today and the only ones in stock were the larger, so as its the SRi with sports chassis I got them. Got home measured the ARB and sure enough 24.59mm. Didn't change them though. Maybe next week.

just finished fitted the arb bushes and droplinks ready for the impending mot on the 23rd feb.i am a little concerned though as when everything is tightened down, there is about a 1mm gap where the bush fits together.im hoping that it will come together soon! its only an LS so it shouldnt be the 25mm ones, surely.as far as i am aware nobody has upgraded the arb.
