Ding in New Car

Having a small bit of a nightmare ...

The missus takes the new car Vectra Hatch Elite to get some diesel, comes back with a small ding where the diesel nozzle hits the paintwork above the filler cap

Its only a small ding,

I live in Cheshire, any good PDR recommendations? what about cost?

This looks text book, remove rear light cluster gives complete access to the rear of the ding... what do they actually do to remove the ding?

all depends on the ding, sometimes they push it out from inside the panel, sometimes they put a sucker on the outside and pop the ding out.

Saw a DIY dent remover kit in halfords the other day for about a tenner. Might do the trick and save you a bit of money.

walk away and hand keys to a pro.(chap on vvoc who diy removed his badges etc what a mess - looks like respray to boot to sort) just an example.Some stuff you can do yourself other stuff,walk away.

Hi I had two dings put in my door on my VectraB thanks to a neighbour! Dentdevils chap did a fantastic job - could not see in any light any evidence where the dents had been

Think it was about £75 per panel as long as they can get access to the rear and the paint isnt damaged

I noticed the dent when I took the car home .... called the dealer, they sent a paintless dent repair guy around to my house when did it for me at no cost

Actual cost would have been £58
